UK Postal Strikes November 2022
The UK postal service, Royal Mail, are on strike 2nd-5th and 8th-10th November 2022.
For international customers there will be a small delay with parcels leaving the UK. Our standard leadtimes have been extended.
For UK customers there will be severe disruption to collections and deliveries. Therefore, we have added a new Evri UK Next Day (1-2 working days) service at subsidised cost of £0.99. We are still offering our free service with Royal Mail but if you require the order promptly we advise you to select our Evri service. Our standard leadtimes have been extended.

Unless otherwise specified, all items are in stock are ready to be dispatched immediately from our base in the United Kingdom. Orders are dispatched within 1 working day.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays although very often we're dispatching orders at the weekend as well.
Occasionally we allow products to be pre-ordered whilst we're waiting for parts to arrive. In this instance an estimated shipping date will be specified in the product description.
For UK orders we offer FREE 1st class shipping on all orders with no minimum spend.
Orders will be sent with a Royal Mail 1st class service and take on average 1-3 working days to arrive within the UK mainland. The service is not tracked and depending on order value a signature may be required.
We also offer a next working day service. Orders placed before 1pm (GMT) will be sent with a Royal Mail 1pm Special Delivery service the same working day and arrive the following working day. Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the following working day. Orders are tracked and a signature will be required upon delivery.
For international orders we offer FREE shipping on orders over GBP 75.
All orders will be sent with a Royal Mail International Tracked service. Orders to Europe take on average 3-7 working days to arrive. Orders to the rest of the world take on average 5-10 working days to arrive. Orders to most destinations are tracked and a signature may be required upon delivery.
VAT/Tax and Import Duty
As of the 1st October 2022, MagCAD Designs Lts is registered for VAT in the United Kingdom.
For UK customers, prices displayed include VAT at 20%. A breakdown will be provided at the checkout.
For international customers, select your shipping destination either when first visiting the site, or at the checkout, to see prices with VAT/tax removed. For international customers all orders are taken without VAT/tax. Depending on the destination your order may be subject to local taxes and import duties, levied either before your order is delivered or shortly after. These customs charges are in addition to the order amount and the responsibility for these lie with you. There are a number of online calculators you can use to check your local rates, otherwise feel free to send us a message.
Please be aware if the delivery fails due to customs charges being refused, the parcel will be returned to us. Only once it has been returned can we refund the order amount, less the cost of shipping. Orders with free shipping will be refunded less our cost of shipping.
Our shipping times are estimates and occasionally orders take longer to be delivered. We will do everything we can to get your order to you promptly. An order is only classified as lost after 10 working days for UK orders and 25 working days for International orders.
Following the UK's exit from the EU, the way VAT/taxes are handled has changed.
A number of schemes operate for goods imported into the EU and different retailers will follow different schemes.
We ship all goods from the UK to the EU as Delivered Duty Unpaid DDU. This means we do not charge any VAT/tax at the checkout but local taxes and import duties may be levied when goods arrive in the destination country. This ensures the overall delivered price remains as low as possible.
We continue to update our services to the EU to ensure your order is delivered promptly but please be aware we are seeing some delays due to customs clearance.
We want you to be happy with your purchase but we appreciate sometimes circumstances change and you may want to return you order for either an exchange or refund. Returned goods must be unused and in a resalable condition. The responsibility for the return cost lies with you and we recommend using a tracked service with adequate insurance to cover potential loss.

For UK orders please return unused items within 30 days of receiving them.
For international orders please return unused items within 45 days of receiving them. Your parcel should include the correct customs information declaring the item as a "Returned Goods - Failed Sale". Please be aware we are not able to pay any import taxes or duties should the customs information not be correct and your parcel may be returned to you.
