Overview

This MagCAD headset spacer allows you to mount a compatible Black Inc Aero Barstem cockpit, designed for Factor Bikes, to a FSA ACR headset system found on many other brands of bike. Internal cable routing is supporting in exactly the same way as both the Black Inc and FSA ACR headset systems.

Please note: The newer Aero Barstem cockpit is different in design to the original Barstem cockpit. This MagCAD headset spacer is not compatible with the original Barstem cockpit.

This MagCAD headset spacer is 5mm in height. The Aero Barstem cockpit can be fitted directly on top for a "slammed" low stack height setup or fitted with Aero Barstem spacers, not supplied, for a taller headset stack height.

OEM Aero Barstem spacers, which are a split design, and can be purchased from Black Inc directly. Otherwise we have both 5mm and 10mm 3D printed non split spacers available to purchase separately, depending on how many are required for your particular installation.

Application

All MagCAD headset parts are 3D printed in a durable Nylon to ensure they are robust to many years of use. As with any steering related components they should be installed by a competent mechanic and inspected regularly. Incorrect assembly or mis-use may result in damage to the headset components.

Particular care should be taken to ensure the internal cable routing is installed correctly and checked periodically.
