The Enve Aero Road IN-Route stem and Enve spacers are pictured for reference only and not included in this listing. We have our own 3D printed Enve compatible spacers that can be purchased separately, details below. Otherwise this Bearing Cover is compatible with the OEM spacer purchased directly from Enve.

Overview

This MagCAD Top Bearing Cover allows you to mount a compatible Enve IN-Route stem or one-piece cockpit to your Specialized Aethos 2 (2026-) road bike.

This MagCAD top bearing cover is 8mm in height. The Enve stem can be fitted directly on top for a "slammed" low stack height setup or fitted with Enve IN-Route spacers, not supplied, for a taller headset stack height.

OEM Enve IN-Route spacers, which are a split design, and can be purchased from Enve directly. Otherwise we have both 5mm and 10mm 3D printed non split spacers available to purchase separately, depending on how many are required for your particular installation.

Please note: This headset kit is not compatible with the 1st generation Specialized Aethos (2020-2025). For the 1st generation Aethos you will want our MagCAD Enve IN-Route Specialized Aethos Top Bearing Cover.

Please note: This MagCAD Top Bearing Cover is designed for electronic shifting and the internal routing of two hydraulic hoses. The Specialized Aethos 2 road bike does not support mechanical groupsets. Therefore this MagCAD Top Bearing Cover also does not support the two additional cables in a mechanical groupset.

Application

All MagCAD headset parts are 3D printed in a durable Nylon to ensure they are robust to many years of use. As with any steering related components they should be installed by a competent mechanic and inspected regularly. Incorrect assembly or mis-use may result in damage to the headset components and/or injury.

Particular care should be taken to ensure the internal cable routing is installed correctly and checked periodically.

  • Specialized Aethos 2 (2026-) road bike.
  • Not compatible with the Specialized Aethos (2020-2025) road bike.
