Overview
This MagCAD top bearing cover allows you to mount a compatible FSA ACR cockpit or stem to your Specialized Tarmac SL9 (2026-) road bike.
The remodelled top bearing cover matches the profile of the OEM Specialized Tarmac SL9 bearing cover to the shape of the FSA ACR headset system, allowing for completely internal routed cabling on your Tarmac SL9.
This MagCAD top bearing cover is 8.2mm in height, just 0.4mm taller than the 7.8mm OEM Specialized Tarmac SL9 top bearing cover. The FSA ACR stem or cockpit can be fitted directly on top for a "slammed" low stack height setup or fitted with FSA ACR spacers, not supplied, for a taller headset stack height.
The FSA ACR system can also be converted to FSA's SMR headset system with an FSA SMR to ACR adapter (part number: MW742), not supplied.
Please note, this bearing cover is designed specifically for the Tarmac SL9 but may fit the previous Specialized Tarmac SL8 (2023-2025).
Application
All MagCAD headset parts are 3D printed in a durable Nylon to ensure they are robust to many years of use. As with any steering related components they should be installed by a competent mechanic and inspected regularly. Incorrect assembly or mis-use may result in damage to the headset components.
Compatible With:
- FSA ACR cockpit or stem.
- FSA SMR cockpit or stem (SMR to ACR adapter required from FSA).
- Specialized Tarmac SL9 (2023-2025).
