Overview

This MagCAD mount is one we've produced a number of times for custom projects and now made available to all, allowing you to attach your Garmin Varia rear radar light to a compatible pannier/luggage rack.

The design is based around a euro type light bracket which consists of two 5mm holes at 50mm spacing. The Varia interface is offset upwards to increase clearance between the Varia and rear tyre or mudguard. Depending on your exact pannier rack the Varia device may sit above the top of the rack and so care should be taken when attaching a large pannier bag. CAD dimensions are including to help you check compatibility before purchasing.

Please be aware, this MagCAD mount is compatible with Garmin Varia radar lights up to the RTL515/516. It is not compatible with the new Varia RCT715 radar/camera.

Application

To attach the mount simply bolt to a compatible light bracket on the rear of your pannier rack with the supplied M5 countersunk screws. Nyloc nuts, supplied, ensure the mount remains tight during use but the assembly should be checked periodically.

Compatible With:

• Garmin Varia devices up to RTL515/516.
• Not compatible with the Varia RCT715 radar/camera.
• Euro type pannier light mount; 2x 5mm holes at 50mm hole distance.
