MagCAD Roval Rapide Specialized Tarmac SL6 / Crux / Aethos Internal Top Spacer - D-Shape
Please note: This spacer is specific to our MagCAD Tarmac SL6, Crux and Aethos (1st Generation) headset kits. It will not fit other headset kits or OEM Specialized spacers.

Overview
This MagCAD headset top spacer is only compatible with our MagCAD Roval Rapide Specialized Tarmac SL6 / Crux Headset Kit and MagCAD Roval Rapide Specialized Aethos Headset Kit, allowing you to run two hydraulic hoses internally down a compatible fork steerer. This is one part of a wider bike conversion. Other parts may be required and are not supplied here.
This MagCAD headset top spacer is compatible with forks featuring a D-shaped 1-1/8" (28.6mm) fork steerer such as the Deda DCR forks. We have an alternative version for Trefoil shaped fork steerers like the Columbus Futura forks. It is not compatible with the EXS FK-00 fork which has a larger 1-1/4" (31.8mm) fork steerer.
This top spacer replace the one supplied in our standard MagCAD Tarmac SL6, Crux and Aethos (1st Generation) headset kits and allows two hydraulic hoses to pass from the underside of the Roval Rapide cockpit into and down a D-shaped fork steerer.
Please note: This MagCAD headset top spacer is only compatible with electronic shifting and does not support the additional cables for mechanical shifting.
Application
All MagCAD headset parts are 3D printed in a durable Nylon to ensure they are robust to many years of use. As with any steering related components they should be installed by a competent mechanic and inspected regularly. Incorrect assembly or mis-use may result in damage to the headset components.

- Roval Rapide cockpit.
- Not compatible with the Roval Alpinist II (2025 onwards) or Roval Alpinist SL (2020-2024) cockpit.
